Travel a la carte was founded by three female co-founders. The entrepreneurs Ivana Hronova, Kim Najman and Olga Grillova set up the online travel agent app Travel a la Carte in 2018, after spotting a gap in the market for an all-in-one booking platform. Taking their app a step further, the app has an inbuilt TAC eWallet which can be topped up and used abroad, as well as an AI assistant, FOXI, who can assist travelers and holidaymakers on their trips.
As travelers themselves, they discovered there is a lack of platforms and apps which can make traveling as easy, straightforward and stress free as possible. Travel a la Carte is the first travel app which organises all of the user’s bookings in one platform, solving all the problems of the modern day traveller by creating a seamless experience.
Travel a la carte headquarters are based in Prague as well as offices based in China to concentrate on business development. In 2019, Travel a la carte opened their third office in New York, to launch the app into the US market in 2019.
